Claudette Lupo

Claudette Lupo 1938-2016

Claudette Lupo… was CCSC’s original DIVA.  She was a  beautiful lady with red hair and perfect makeup.  Claudette was also a beautiful person within.  Her charm and wit was second to none.  She was kind and sweet and soft spoken.  She was always on the front row because of her dancing talent.  She had a wonderful stage presence and a joy to watch.  That was our Claudette.

She with, Dianna, Lauren and later Jo Ann were the original RahRah’s.  Their skits were hilarious and Claudette was right in the middle of all the shenanigans.  Anticipation was always high before the Rah Rah’s would appear.  “What will they do now to top their last performance” was the question.  We were never disappointed.

Claudette is now our shining star in heaven.  We miss her terribly but her spirit will always be with us.

Wanda Schenewerk

Wanda2014Wanda joined the Sweet Adelines in 2001. She sang Lead and was a dedicated member. Many evenings she opened her home to members for extra small group rehearsals. She was loved by all.

Pat Berg

As Jayne McGee once said, “If you need help or need any information about the Sweet Adelines International, just ask Pat Berg.” Pat was a fountain of information and was always there to share and help. Pat joined Sweet Adelines International in 1988 and a member of Crescent City Sound Chorus for 10 years. She held many positions in the Sweet Adelines. She had been President, Treasurer, Costume Chair, Show Chair, Paid Performance Coordinator and Music Librarian. Always supportive of her sister Adelines she attended nine International Competitions and for fifteen years attended all Regional Meetings. She lived in New Orleans for over 80 years and lost her Lakeview home in Katrina. After Katrina she moved into her daughter Angela’s home in Hammond.

Nancy Rounsefell

She is an accomplished woman who has turned her gifts into something special ----

Nancy joined the Sweet Adelines in 1981 and joined Crescent City Sound Chorus in 2008.

She sang with Sweet Adelines choruses wherever she lived. In Australia, when she did not find a chorus to join, she founded one! They are still singing! Her sisters in CCSC will miss her and her beautiful tenor voice.

Susan Schneider

Suzie Schneider was involved with the Sweet Adelines since 1975. She sang Baritone. Through her illness, she was always sweet and kind. Some of her happiness moments were singing with Crescent City Sound Chorus. She was an inspiration to many through her faith and her strength.
